Flow Cytometry Core

Overview of Services

The FCC provides advanced cytometry, expert advice, project/panel design, training, data analysis, assay development/optimization, new marker characterization and collaboration.

*Please be advised that as a user of the Flow Cytometry Core you are agreeing to following terms and conditions:

  • All data acquired from instruments or services provided by the Flow Cytometry Core must be properly acknowledged in research papers (submitted or published), grants (submitted or awarded), posters and oral presentations.
  • Any publications where a significant intellectual contribution was made by core personnel should attribute authorship accurately.

Please note the College is charging a fee for training on core equipment for internal and external users.

Our Mission

The overall mission of the Research Office is to support the research enterprise of the College of Medicine–Phoenix, stimulating all types of research and growing the sponsored projects portfolio by providing all forms of research infrastructure and resources. Our Research Cores are a direct reflection of that mission in as much as they provide centralized access to specialized, state-of-the art and high end instrumentation, with expert scientific leadership for experimental design, training and analysis to meet the needs of the research community.

Hours of Operation: 24/7 hours access for self usage for internal users. Assisted usage-8:00am-4:00pm. Access to FCC E535 located on 5th floor at the south side of building by card access only. Initial training required for each instrument and will be assessed on an individual basis. Please contact Dr. Kala for more information on training, experiment designing, collaboration and access.
