Precision medicine through clinical molecular testingAs part of the Arizona Health Sciences Center's Precision Medicine initiative the University of Arizona Genetics Core for Clinical Services (UAGC-CS) established its Clinical Services unit to support clinical, clinical trial, and clinical research activities, as well as the inpatient and outpatient needs of physicians and researchers. UAGC-CS is a CLIA certified/CAP accredited laboratory specializing in clinical molecular genetic testing. UAGC-CS was established to support clinical genomic testing, clinical trials, clinical research activities, as well as the inpatient and outpatient diagnosis needs of physicians, oncologists and researchers.UAGC-CS offers high-complexity laboratory developed testing (LDTs) and has the infrastructure and staff necessary to meet all clinical and research standards (HIPAA, GLP, CLIA, CAP) for the processing, tracking, and analysis of clinical patient data.
