Phoenix Biomedical Core

Overview of Services

The College of Medicine-Phoenix Research Cores currently comprises three distinct cores: Biomedical Imaging Core (BIC), Flow Cytometry Core (FCC) and Molecular Analysis Core (MAC).

The BIC provides the latest innovative imaging technologies along with advice on experimental design, training and analysis.

The FCC provides expert advice and project design in cell analysis and cell sorting as applied to cytokine analysis, immune-phenotyping, cell-cycle analysis, apoptosis, proliferation, and new marker characterization.

The MAC provides specialized technology for molecular imaging, surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for binding studies, kinetic data analysis, small molecule and/or fragment screening, and aggregation studies, as well as consultation on assay development and protein purification.
